D3i iSCSI SAN Storage Array
The D3i iSCSI SAN Storage Array has numerous standard features with support for NEC’s enterprise-class storage software. The D3 array can scale from just 300 GB to 288 TB capacity via up to eleven 2U 12-drive bay expansion arrays.
Aggregate throughput of over 400 MB/s to the hosts provided via up to four 1Gbps iSCSI Ethernet ports. Connected into a network or direct-connected as a simple and low-cost DAS configuration. (Fibre Channel model also available.) Disk enclosures are connected to the controllers through a SAS wide-link interface allowing for 24Gbps bandwidth to each disk enclosure.
A fully redundant system protects against any single-point-of-failure, with a BBU (battery backup unit) protecting the cache. Failed componentry is reported via alerts through either email or SNMP traps, as well as in the management software.
